I am nearly 37 weeks pregnant, and it’s time to step away from doing other things, and enter into the baby bubble. It has been quite busy the past few months, we released the album, I finished things up with my teaching job, and was doing construction work and painting around the house. I am very grateful I have been fit and healthy enough to do all of those things! But now the tiredness of being heavily pregnant is definitely starting to kick in. So it is time for me to sign off, and focus on things like packing a hospital bag, and washing baby clothes, and rest up when I can.
Our second album Equilibrium is finally finished, here for you to enjoy! Amazingly, after working on these songs for a long time, we still managed to get the masters (final mixes) done just a week before release date! Do you recognise getting things done only close to their deadline? Well, now they are done, and that means it’s time to give the album to you, our Explorer, before they are officially released on all the major streaming platforms.
Recently we have both been feeling a bit like we have played all the cards in our hand, when it comes to promoting our music. It is hard to break outside of the circle of people who already love and support our music.
My good friend Stefanie, who lives in Berlin, is also an artist, and she is currently following a course in releasing your own music. She has gained a lot of very good insights into social media and marketing, and she offered to share those insights with us.
