We are happy to announce our new official single Treasure Hunters, which will be available to the world from July 4th. It is the second track we are releasing as part of the forthcoming album Equilibrium.
I had a few days off this week, and it has turned into a week of slowing down. I slept in, leisurely strolled through town with my daughter, ate outside, and today I went for a bike ride in the sunshine.
To be honest, I needed this. I feel more sane when I slow down and stop for a minute. Inspiration more readily shows up, and I feel a deep sense of calm and well-being. That is noteworthy, because I have a tendency to keep running, to keep striving for the best I can achieve, resulting in me often being restless.
Today we met up in Utrecht to talk about our future plans. So far we have always done everything DIY, and we feel that with our new album it is time to expand our horizon and see if we can work with a manager, a label, a publisher and a live agent. We have had a wonderful conversation with someone we are looking to work with, so that is very positive, and we are looking forward to what the future will bring!
I went for a walk in the forest this morning. I have not been home for 48 hours yet, and I feel the aftershock of the shows. The impact is creative inspiration, and I am feeling it like a big wave, a heart full of lightness and a head full of ideas. The ideas are ninety percent abstract, and don’t offer themselves into something concrete to write or create yet. Do you know this feeling? You know you are inspired, and it’s a great feeling, but it’s all very abstract.
